We set up the first program in PA in 1989 that was an alternative sentencing and re-entry program for prostitutes that was so successful the DOJ came in and studied our work. They told us we saved the state over $1,000,000 that year. Money they then took and used to create an office to help the aging and children in Allentown in 1991. But we weren’t invited to this event. Anyone who is being sent to jail on a prostitution conviction can get out of jail free by calling the hotline at http://www.sexworkersanonymous.net You don’t need an attorney and the court can’t refuse you either without violating your 14th amendment rights. If you want out early, SWA can arrange your early release without an attorney. If you want your records expunged, we can get your records expunged, again without the expense of an attorney. If in segregation, you’re only allowed a Bible AND the SWA Recovery Guide as well as the Big Book of AA. You can also have your mail denied to you in segregation, however, they can’t deny you SWA visits and mail without also again being accused of violating your 14th amendment rights. They want you to think there’s no services because there’s no money when the truth is the services are all right there now – all you have to do is call. If you doubt me, go look up Ray Shape in Las Vegas. He was falsely charged with sex trafficking and the victim has confessed to lying. His attorney has admitted to railroading him. He has no money and was sentenced to life. SWA had called George Knapp who broke the story about the whole thing being a sham. An investigation has opened with the FBI and SWA filed him papers to have his case re-heard so he can be released. Who else does that now without a gofundnme first? If you need help from prison, http://www.sexworkersanonymous.net can aid you now. I’ve spoken to the guy for SWOP who says he’s in charge of their re-entry service and he says he’s “not ready for direct referrals yet”. We however have been aiding prostitutes for 32 years. We can help you. Reply Ms_Dante on October 6, 2018 at 3:18 pm Sorry we didn’t see you at the re/entry and prison health care conference, Jody. Though I’ve worked in Philly since 1994 I’ve only been presenting the last three years. I apologize —- In my almost 25 years of work and service in Philadelphia I’ve never seen your efforts in actual action beyond discourse via social medial threads. Thank you for your comments. I am glad I inspire you. Reply Ms_Dante on October 6, 2018 at 3:19 pm See you next year at your table or community outreach presentation perhaps Reply Nathan House on October 11, 2018 at 12:21 pm I was very inspired by speaking with you and by your work. I mentioned A Jack Reacher novel ” The Killing Floor” that impacted me while incarcerated, and understand how the system was designed to produce certain results. This excerpt saddens me, because with the understanding that lying and money are major factors in the system , peoples lives are still being ruined. How do we all have a voice and help such a broken thing that was intended to produce what it is currently producing? Reply Ms_Dante on October 15, 2018 at 7:51 am Perhaps by doing what we are doing Nathan, by talking with each other and asking these authentic questions Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
